FPV / LINE

Find your line.

Preparing your arcade. If this screen stays here, reload or open the online game.

Playing a downloaded copy?

Open the folder containing game in a terminal, then start a local web server:

python3 -m http.server 8768 --bind 127.0.0.1

Leave that terminal open and visit 127.0.0.1:8768/game/. If that port is busy, choose a free port in both the command and address.

Opening game/index.html directly as a file cannot start the game. Python is only needed for this local-server option. Playing online opens a different site; local saves are not transferred automatically.

Play without browser bars

  1. Open this game in Safari.

THE SHORT VERSION

Make the next cut count.

Read without starting or resuming.

  1. Blue ground is safe from field enemies. Leaving it begins a vulnerable gold line.
  2. Return to blue ground to close the cut. Regions without a field enemy are revealed. In the revised Arcade chapters, closing a cut stops your craft: tap a fresh direction to fly again.
  3. Enemies on both sides can leave only your line captured. Use that line to begin another cut.
  4. A field enemy touching your line, or crossing your own line, costs a life. Border patrols can also hit you on the outer edge.
  5. Reach the coverage target and capture required objectives. Special challenge maps can limit the clock or live-line length; their briefing and HUD explain those limits.

Keyboard: arrows/WASD, Shift boost, E ability, R supply, Escape/P pause. Touch: drag the floating stick or swipe to turn. Choose a sliding D-pad, either hand, size and opacity in Settings. Releasing keeps you moving. Pause to take a break.

Controller: Release controls and press a face button to join. Configure the layout in Settings.

Text entry and file pickers still use keyboard or touch. Some browsers also need a keyboard or touch action before sound can start. Menu navigation and silent gameplay remain available.

Campaign difficulty: Standard and Gentle reveal the same pictures and share mission and appearance unlocks. Scores and medals stay separate; equipment seals require Standard. A change during a flight applies to the next fresh attempt. Resume and Load preserve the current flight; Retry starts the selected difficulty from the beginning.

Long flights: Replay recording and new recoverable saves stop after 30 minutes of play. Earlier checkpoints may remain. Classic collection results have a two-hour limit; Journey clears and pictures use their own progress store. Pause to check Flight saves and export before leaving. A replay cannot resume a flight.

YOUR NEXT FLIGHT

Different tools. New routes.

Return to a marked hangar on safe ground with no live line. Charges and cooldowns stay with each craft; changing craft never refills them.

Settings

Appearance & accessibility

Readable text, terrain and comfortable motion.

Show defeated optional enemies where supported. Warnings, shots and brief hit effects stay visible.

Optional character captions, sound and brief reactions during play and after Journey missions. Sound follows your audio settings.

Reduced effects softens movement and celebration effects. Every direction tap keeps you moving. Use Pause to take a break. Manual equipment, when provided by a map, uses separate controls.

Stored profile recovery

Review stored profiles from this site without changing them. Exact release channels stay separate.

Read stored values or verify one selected original image. Flight recovery and storage migration are unavailable.

Open recovery from Settings to inspect stored profiles.

Selected original images

Original files are shared by profiles on this site. Listing or verifying an image does not prove that this profile earned it. These separate files are not a complete backup.

Stored-data exports exclude original files. Selected image downloads exclude other images, audio and saved flights. Identity reports are diagnostics, not import files. Keep existing complete backups.
